概述
越南三线闭壳龟（Cuora cyclornata）是一种大型闭壳龟，背甲具三条明显的黑色纵纹，故名三线。包含三个亚种：指名亚种、安南亚种和梅氏亚种。
趣闻
该物种曾长期被误认为三线闭壳龟（Cuora trifasciata），2006年才被描述为新种。其种加词“cyclornata”意为“圆形的鼻”，指其吻部圆钝。三个亚种的地理分布区被河流和山脉分隔。
形态特征
最大SCL雄性26.0 cm，雌性35.0 cm。背甲棕褐色，具三条黑色纵纹，中央一条较宽。腹甲黑色，边缘黄色。头部黄绿色，具黑色斑纹，四肢有大型鳞片。
生态习性
栖息于山区溪流附近的热带雨林中，水栖性较强。以鱼、虾、蟹及水生植物为食。繁殖期在4-6月，每窝产卵2-5枚，卵椭圆形，壳质坚韧。幼龟生长缓慢。
主要威胁与保护
过度捕猎是最大威胁，因其背甲用于传统医药，且是宠物市场的热门物种。栖息地因森林砍伐和农业开发而丧失。CITES附录II限制贸易，但非法走私仍严重。中国将其列为国家一级保护动物。
自然分布与保护状态
分布于中国广西、老挝和越南。IUCN红色名录列为极危（CR A1d+2d [ver. 2.3]），CITES附录II，且对野生标本实行商业目的零配额。估计AOO 124,545 km²，EOO 337,326 km²。
